Cylinder Boring

  • All 4 cycle boring is done on a cyclical boring machine, final honing with AN500 Sunnen Stones to factory spec's. Cylinders are cleaned and checked for taper prior to being returned to customer.
    COST- $50.00 per hole.
  • All 2 cycle boring is done on a cyclical boring machine, all ports are chamfered and final honing is done with AN300 Sunnen stones, checked for taper and finish.
    Cost - $50.00 per hole.
  • ALL BLIND HOLE boring is sent out to a fully qualified machine shop. We look after final honing on our Honing machine. We check all outside work prior to being returned to our customer. 
    Cost - $80.00 per hole
  • ALL ALUMINUM CYLINDER boring is sent out to a fully qualified machine shop, They do the final honing and we check all work prior to returning finished product to customer.
    Cost - $ 70.00 per hole

Cylinder Re-Sleeving

  • All re-sleeve work is done in house with our cyclical boring bar.  All 4 stroke cylinders with drop out sleeves are done in house and final cylinder boring is done by our machinists. Final honing is done with AN500 Sunnen stones and all work is checked prior to returning finished product to our customer.
    Cost - $100.00
  • All 4 stroke cylinders with cast in liners or chrome bores that must be machined out prior to sleeve installation are done in house and final cylinder boring is done by our machinists. Sleeves are fit at .002 interference fit and then pinned to ensure no turning.
    Cost - $ 150.00
  • All 2 stroke cylinders are machined out and the sleeve is interference fit at .003 and then final bored to racing clearances. All sub ports are blended and exhaust and intake ports are blended to flow maximum mixtures. Final honing done to rider spec.
    Cost - $150.00

Big Bore Kits are available for most engine sizes. This can be done with chrome bore or with steel sleeves. Prices are available on request. Please note that some big bores are illegal to use in certain types of racing. We NEVER discuss a customers requests with anyone but the customer.

FOR ALL RESLEEVE WORK IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE CYLINDER IS NAKED ON ARRIVAL IN OUR SHOP, EXTRA COSTS ARE INCURRED IF WE ARE EXPECTED TO REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD STUDS, POWER VALVES OR ANY OTHER ATTACHED PIECES. 

  • Cylinder stud removal cost is $5.00 per stud.
  • Power valve removal and cleaning cost is $40.00, 
  • exhaust manifold removal cost is $7.50. 

    We Assume No Responsibility for broken or stripped studs. Prevailing labor rates will apply on those type of repairs.
  • Cylinder decking, top and bottom - Depending on amount of removal but base cost to true cylinder deck or base is $55.00

Cylinder Head machined

  • Cost is $55.00 for 2 stroke single head
  • Cost is $75.00 for 2 stroke twin or triple (one Piece)

Cylinder Porting

  • 2 stroke
    Dollar for dollar the most cost effective way to increase horsepower. Every cylinder we do is Sport specific. Enduro riders don't need the same power band as a motocross racer, schoolboys needs differ from a pros. Our handcrafted porting of cylinders is based on flow bench numbers and a riders needs. Head modifications are included in the engine porting package. Volume capacity is checked, squish band modified for better fuel efficiencies, and to create higher compression and enhanced burn patterns where required. 
    Cost - $300.00
  • 4 stroke
    The power in a 4 stroke comes from the head. A fully ported and flow tested cylinder head can be modified to increase performance by up to 15% without any other changes. Add a cam, performance valve springs  and  pump up compression with a high performance piston and the numbers can grow to 30% quickly.
    Cost begins at $450.00 with a full mod engine set at $1200.00 (confirm prices prior to ordering)

Engine rebuild   

  • 2 stroke
    A complete engine tear down and rebuild is $295.00. This is based on engine out of frame and all parts are extra. We pride ourselves on doing it right and you can be sure that we check every piece on disassembly and we present you with a guaranteed price on a complete repair. We don't use aftermarket parts unless you authorize it. OEM parts are always our first choice. 
    4 stroke
    Complete engine tear down and rebuild is $395.00. This is based on engine out of frame and all parts are extra. As with the 2 stroke, we check every piece on disassembly. We present you with your cost before we start on final repair. We give you the best we have and we give you alternatives where possible.

Lace-up and true Motocross rims  (using new parts)  (wheels must be clean and tire/tube removed)

  • $80.00 
  • add $25.00 (to remove tire/tube and then re-install tire/tube)
  • add $30.00 (if you have already removed spokes from rim)

Crankshaft rebuilds

Single's - To dismantle, inspect, repair and re-assemble with factory spec run out. Labor charges only,  (all parts are extra)   

  • 2 stroke cranks  -  $55.00
  • 4 stroke cranks  -  $70.00

Twin's - To dismantle, inspect, repair and re-assemble with factory spec run out. Labor charges only.  (all parts are extra)

  • All twin cranks    - $125.00 

Triple's    - To dismantle, inspect, repair and re-assemble with factory spec run out, Labor charges only.  (all parts are extra)

  • All triple cranks   - $185.00

Assemble short block  - All Blocks. Clean cases and re-seal -  Labor charges only. (any new part installation is extra).

  • Snow machine and water craft engines - $125.00 
  • General labor rate is $45.00 per hour.
  • Custom Fabrication and machine labor rate is $65.00 per hour.
